How Do Doctors Behave When Some (But Not All) of Their Patients are in Managed Care?

Most physicians today treat a variety of patients within their practices and operate in markets where a variety of insurance arrangements co-exist. In this paper, we propose several theoretical explanations for physician treatment patterns when the patient population is heterogeneous at the practice当前绝大多数医师在执业过程中接诊各类患者，且所处的医疗市场中多种保险支付安排并存。本文针对执业范围内患者群体存在异质性的情形，就医师的诊疗模式提出了若干理论解释。
