Images and Report from an Archaeological Watching Brief at Lanercost Gardens, Throckley, Newcastle upon Tyne, August 2022

This digital archive contains images and a report from a programme of archaeological monitoring, archaeological watching brief, during groundworks for the laying of a replacement gas main along Lanercost Gardens, Throckley, Newcastle upon Tyne. The works was carried out by Headland Archaeology UK Ltd, under commission of Northern Gas Networks, during August 2022. The total length of pipe replaced measured 200 metres and no archaeology was identified.
