We used microarrays to detail the global gene expression change and identified distinct classes of up-regulated genes during fibrosis development in lung non-hematopoietic cells. Close interaction between nonhematopoietic and hematopoietic cells are critical for fibrosis development. Total RNA was isolated from mouse lung CD45-negative cells 10 days after PBS or BLM inoculation using an RNA isolation kit and subjected to microarray analysis
