This dataset is extracted from the *2015 China Forestry Statistical Yearbook*, focusing on the afforestation completion status of Shanghai Municipality among the county-level afforestation data of all provinces across China. It records the areas of artificial afforestation, aerial seeding afforestation, newly closed hillsides for afforestation, degraded forest restoration, and artificial forest regeneration for each district and county in Shanghai.
