Heritability of inter-pack aggression in a wild pedigreed population of North American gray wolves

We used restriction site-associated DNA sequencing (RADseq) to generate a genomic dataset for gray wolves (Canis lupus) inhabiting Yellowstone National Park, in order to: (1) estimate heritability of inter-pack aggression, (2) resolve a consensus pedigree, and (3) perform pedigree-based genetic associations with aggression.本研究采用限制性酶切位点相关DNA测序（restriction site-associated DNA sequencing, RADseq）技术，为栖息于黄石国家公园的灰狼（Canis lupus）构建基因组数据集，以达成以下三项研究目标：（1）估算狼群间攻击行为的遗传力；（2）构建共识系谱；（3）开展基于系谱的攻击行为遗传关联分析。
