Burkholderiaceae in permafrost affected soils include hitherto unknown, acid-tolerant nitrate reducers. Genomes from two isolates, originated from the Eastern European Tundra, were seqeunced via Illumina MiSeq and OxfordNanopore. Retrieved from permafrost affected, acidic cryoturbated peat circles, these isolates give new insights into cryo- and acid tolerant nitrate reducers from this harsh environment.

伯克霍尔德氏菌科（Burkholderiaceae）类群在受永久冻土影响的土壤中包含迄今尚未被认知的耐酸硝酸盐还原菌。本研究对两株分离自东欧苔原的菌株进行了基因组测序，测序采用Illumina MiSeq与牛津纳米孔（OxfordNanopore）技术平台。该两株菌株均分离自受永久冻土影响的酸性冻融扰动泥炭圈，其相关研究可为解析这一极端环境中的耐低温耐酸硝酸盐还原菌提供全新研究视角。
