This dataset contains RNA-seq transcriptomic data of Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 during infection by the lytic bacteriophage vB_Pae_QDWS. Samples were collected at four time points post-infection: 0, 3, 6, and 20 minutes, in order to investigate the dynamic transcriptional response of the host bacterium to phage infection. Total RNA was extracted, ribosomal RNA was removed, and strand-specific libraries were prepared and sequenced using the Illumina platform. Clean reads were mapped to the reference genomes of both P. aeruginosa PAO1 and phage vB_Pae_QDWS. This time-resolved transcriptomic dataset provides insights into the molecular interactions between bacteriophage and host, and may serve as a valuable resource for understanding phage-host dynamics, bacterial defense mechanisms, and the regulation of phage replication.
