Raking the ocean surface : new patterns of coordinated motion in seabirds

This dataset contains two types of files : - in .zip files : anonymized radar images (all recorded during year 2016) that were used in this study. Time of recording is included in the file name, and images are classified in monthly repertories. FORMAT : .png ex : Image_April_151649.png corresponds to an image recorded in April 2016 at 15:16:49 . - wind components, wind directions, wind speed, sun azimut and elevation, relative to the time and location (latitude and longitude, centered on [0 , 0]) of radar image recordings. FORMAT : .mat ex : DataFile_2016_April.mat corresponds to metadata (wind and sun complementary data, anonymized location) relative to each radar image recorded in April 2016.

本数据集包含两类文件：
其一为.zip压缩包内的匿名化雷达图像，所有图像均采集于2016年，为本研究所用的核心数据。文件名包含采集时刻，图像按月度目录分类存储。图像格式为.png，示例：Image_April_151649.png 对应2016年4月15日15时16分49秒采集的雷达图像。
其二为对应于雷达图像采集时间及位置（以[0, 0]为中心的经纬度）的辅助数据集，包含风场分量（wind components）、风向（wind directions）、风速（wind speed）、太阳方位角（azimuth）及太阳高度角（elevation）。该类文件格式为.mat，示例：DataFile_2016_April.mat 对应2016年4月采集的全部雷达图像的元数据（metadata），包含风场与太阳辅助数据、匿名化位置信息。
