Within the scope of the DRYAD project "Demonstration and modelling of Nature-based solutions to enhance the resilience of Mediterranean agro-silvo-pastoral ecosystems and landscapes", funded under HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-01-01 (https://dryad-project.eu/), LNEG subcontracted IDL to carry out and interpret electrical resistivity profiles, with the aim of optimising the siting of observation boreholes that will form part of the monitoring network in the Pilot Demonstration Area (PDA) located at Companhia das Lezírias. It should be noted that the purpose of the observation boreholes is to monitor the shallow aquifers that supply water to the montado ecosystem. No âmbito do projecto DRYAD “Demonstration and modelling of Nature-based solutions to enhance the resilience of Mediterranean agro-silvo-pastoral ecosystems and landscapes”, financiamento HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-01-01 (https://dryad-project.eu/), o LNEG subcontratou o IDL para realizar e interpretar perfis de resistividade eléctrica, a fim de optimizar a localização de furos de observação que integrarão a rede de monitorização da área piloto (Pilot Demonstration Area – PDA) localizada na Companhia das Lezírias. De realçar que o objectivo dos furos de observação é a monitorização dos aquíferos superficiais que fornecem água ao ecossistema do montado.
