IODP Expedition 397 Titration

Various chemical constituents (most commonly chloride) were measured by titration using either an autotitrator (chloride) or a manual titrator (other compounds). Chloride was measured by ion-selective electrode and a silver nitrate titration until all chloride is bound as silver chloride.

本数据集采用滴定法对多种化学成分进行测定，其中最常见的检测对象为氯离子（chloride）。针对氯离子的检测使用自动滴定仪（autotitrator），针对其余化合物的检测则采用手动滴定仪（manual titrator）。氯离子的测定结合离子选择性电极（ion-selective electrode）法与硝酸银滴定法，直至所有氯离子均转化为氯化银（silver chloride）沉淀。
