Recent rapid increase in ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae isolate is closely related to the emergence and worldwide spread of Escherichia coli ST131 clone. Of the ST131 clone, CTX-M-15-producing H30Rx subclone has been identified as the responsible subclone of this pandemic. In this study, we investigated clinical ESBL-producing E. coli ST131 isolates in Japan using whole genome sequencing and comaparative genomic analysis to define responsible subclones spread in Japan.
产超广谱β-内酰胺酶(Extended-Spectrum β-Lactamases, ESBL)的肠杆菌科(Enterobacteriaceae)分离株近年数量快速攀升,这与大肠杆菌ST131(Escherichia coli ST131)克隆株的出现及全球播散紧密相关。在ST131克隆株中,产CTX-M-15型酶的H30Rx亚克隆已被确定为此次全球大流行的主要致病亚克隆。本研究针对日本境内的临床产ESBL大肠杆菌ST131分离株,采用全基因组测序(whole genome sequencing)与比较基因组学分析(comparative genomic analysis),旨在明确在日本国内流行的致病亚克隆类型。
