Lithocarpus litseifolius (Hance) Chun, an evergreen plant of Fagaceae, commonly referred to as "sweet tea", is a good source of natural sweetener compounds. Additionally, the medicinal values of L. litseifolius have also been identified in recent year. In recent years, varietal identification has become a frequent problem in germplasm preservation collections, which causes considerable inconvenience and uncertainty in the cataloging and preservation of L. litseifolius germplasm resources, in the selection of parental lines for breeding, and in the promotion and use of high quality varieties. In this study, we used genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) on 38 L. litseifolius accessions to develop SNP markers. After filtering, 13,883 high-quality SNPs were obtained. We used the SNPs to perform principal component analysis (PCA), population structure analysis, and neighbor joining (NJ) cluster analysis on the 38 L. litseifolius.
栓叶柯(Lithocarpus litseifolius (Hance) Chun)隶属于壳斗科(Fagaceae),为常绿植物,俗称“甜茶”,是天然甜味剂类化合物的优良来源。近年来,其药用价值也逐步得到学界确认。当前,种质资源保藏库中的品种鉴定已成为频发难题,该问题为栓叶柯种质资源的分类编目与保藏、育种亲本选育以及优质品种的推广应用均带来了诸多不便与不确定性。本研究对38份栓叶柯材料开展简化基因组测序(genotyping-by-sequencing, GBS)以开发单核苷酸多态性(single nucleotide polymorphism, SNP)标记。经筛选过滤后,共获得13883个高质量SNP标记。本研究利用上述SNP标记,对38份栓叶柯材料进行了主成分分析(principal component analysis, PCA)、群体结构分析以及邻接(neighbor joining, NJ)聚类分析。
