Bajau Learners

Data of Bajau learners as minority group in mainstream classes. This data includes grades of students and interview transcripts. We report how a minority group specifically the bajaus value education and how they are performing in main stream schools. Our investigation has found that this ethnic group are able to perform in comparison with the majority of the students in a class, despite their experiences of discrimination and constant struggle with hunger. We also report their certain ingroup and out-group behaviours in their schooling.

巴瑶人（Bajau）作为主流课堂中的少数群体学习者数据集。该数据集包含学生成绩与访谈转录文本。本研究阐述了巴瑶人这一少数群体如何看待教育，以及他们在主流学校中的学业表现。本研究发现，尽管该族群曾遭受歧视且长期饱受饥饿困扰，但其学业表现仍可与班级内多数学生相媲美。此外，本研究还记录了该群体在校园生活中的部分内群体与外群体行为。
