AI-powered tools, adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring platforms, and natural language processing technologies have reshaped traditional pedagogical approaches. This article examines the theoretical foundations, technological mechanisms, practical applications, advantages, challenges, and future prospects of AI in language education. The study highlights how AI enhances personalization, assessment accuracy, learner autonomy, and real-time feedback while also addressing ethical considerations such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and teacher displacement concerns. The findings suggest that AI does not replace teachers but complements pedagogical practice, fostering a more learner-centered and efficient educational environment.
