RAD51 play an essential role in HR process. RAD51-dependent HR is one of the most important steps for DNA repair, it has the capacity to improve HR-based DNA repair efficiency. Here, we show that depeltion of RAD51 using siRNA reduced efficiency of HR-dependent DNA repair.
RAD51在同源重组(Homologous Recombination, HR)过程中发挥不可或缺的关键作用。依赖RAD51的同源重组是DNA修复的最重要步骤之一,其可提升基于同源重组的DNA修复效率。本研究发现,利用小干扰RNA(small interfering RNA, siRNA)敲低RAD51的表达,会降低同源重组依赖型DNA修复的效率。
