The Pseudoalteromonas strain A2 was isolated from Arctic seawater in pack ice zone collected during 5th Chinese National Arctic Expedition, which has high antioxidative activity against H2O2. The genomics information of this strain will facilitate the study of the physiology, cold adaptation properties, evolution of this genus, especially the antioxidative adaptive mechanism.

假交替单胞菌属（Pseudoalteromonas）菌株A2采自中国第五次北极科学考察期间采集的北极浮冰区海水，该菌株对过氧化氢（H₂O₂）具有较高的抗氧化活性。该菌株的基因组学信息将有助于开展该属细菌的生理学、低温适应特性以及进化历程研究，尤其是其抗氧化适应机制相关研究。
