Single-cell whole genome sequencing of the LβT2 genome

LβT2 is an important widely-studied cell line model for the pituitarygonadotropes. Microsatellite authentication patterns, chromosomal characteristics and theirintercellular variation have not been reported in these cells. We performed microsatellite andcytogenetic analysis of LβT2 cells at early passage number, as well as conducted single-cell low-coverage DNA sequencing to reliably identify genome-wide copy number alterations in singleLβT2 cells.

LβT2是一种被广泛研究的重要垂体促性腺激素细胞（pituitary gonadotropes）系模型。目前尚未有针对该细胞的微卫星（microsatellite）鉴定分型特征、染色体特性及其细胞间异质性的相关报道。本研究对低传代次数的LβT2细胞开展了微卫星与细胞遗传学分析，并通过单细胞低覆盖度DNA测序技术，实现对单个LβT2细胞全基因组范围内拷贝数变异的可靠鉴定。
