Larimichthys crocea (also known as the large yellow croaker) is one of the most economically im-portant marine fishes in China, and there is immense significance in researching both the ecology and genetics of this species. Here, we performed restriction site-associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq) of 54 individuals collected from four major production area in China to parse the genetic structure and diversity in large yellow croaker at the genome level, and to analyze the poorly differentiated characteristics of large yellow croaker population under culture environment.
大黄鱼(Larimichthys crocea,英文俗称large yellow croaker)是我国经济价值最高的海水鱼类之一,对该物种的生态学与遗传学研究均具有重要意义。本研究对采自我国四大主产区的54尾个体开展了限制性酶切位点相关DNA测序(restriction site-associated DNA sequencing,RAD-seq),以解析大黄鱼基因组水平的遗传结构与遗传多样性,并分析养殖环境下大黄鱼种群的弱分化特征。
