Synthesis and Structural Characterization of a Fluorinated α-Diimine Platinum(II) Complex

The preparation of an electron-deficient (N−N)PtCl2 complex in which the diimine C is substituted by CF3 is described. Thus, reactions between the diimine ligand 1 (R = CF3, R‘ = 2,6-dimethylphenyl) and PtCl2 (thermal reaction) or KPtCl3(C2H4) (photochemically activated) furnishes the corresponding (N−N)PtCl2 complex 2. The ligand 1 and its Pt complexes 2, as well as related (N−N)PtCl2 complexes 3 (R = CO2CD3, R‘ = 2,6-dimethylphenyl; a methanolysis product) and 4 (R = H, R‘ = 2,6-dimethylphenyl) have been characterized by X-ray crystallography.
本文报道了一种缺电子(N−N)二氯化铂配合物的制备方法,该配合物的二亚胺配体碳原子位点被三氟甲基(CF3)取代。具体而言,二亚胺配体1(R=CF3,R'=2,6-二甲基苯基)分别与二氯化铂(PtCl2,热反应条件)或三氯(乙烯)合铂酸钾(KPtCl3(C2H4),光活化条件下)反应,合成得到对应的(N−N)二氯化铂配合物2。配体1及其铂配合物2,以及相关的(N−N)二氯化铂配合物3(R=CO2CD3,R'=2,6-二甲基苯基,为甲醇解产物)和4(R=H,R'=2,6-二甲基苯基),均通过X射线晶体学(X-ray crystallography)完成了结构表征。
