ACS Geographical Mobility View Centroids

Overview This feature service provides American Community Survey-based measures of geographical mobility for U.S. state, county, and census tract areas. It combines boundary or centroid-based geography layers with mobility indicators that summarize where people lived one year ago, including the shares of residents who stayed in the same house, moved within the same state, moved to a different state, or arrived from abroad. Feature Layers State — State-level geographic features with statewide mobility statistics, land and water area, and standard geographic identifiers. The layer supports regional comparison of population movement patterns across the United States. County — County-level geographic features with county mobility statistics and area measures, linked to the state in which each county resides. This layer supports local and substate analysis of population turnover and migration patterns. Tract — Census tract geographic features with tract-level mobility statistics, linked to their county and state. This layer supports fine-grained neighborhood analysis of residential mobility and migration characteristics. Geographic Coverage The service covers the United States at multiple administrative scales, including states, counties, and census tracts.
