Biofuels consumption for transportation in the Netherlands 2015-2022

Since 2015, biofuels consumption for transport in the Netherlands rose to its peak, at 638.3 kilotons of oil equivalent in 2019. Overall, the country's biodiesel consumption was always significantly greater than biogasoline consumption, and biogas consumption the lowest among these three fuels. In 2022, the Netherlands biodiesel consumption amounted to 301.2 kilotons of oil equivalent, while biogas fuel consumption was at 40.7 kilotons of oil equivalent.
