Costa Rica: land use 2010-2016, by type

Costa Rica's forest land area has increased by nearly two thousand square kilometers between 2010 and 2016. In the latter year, forests covered nearly 28 thousand square kilometers of the country. Permament meadows and pastures have decreased in the same period, reaching 12 thousand square kilometers in 2016.
