2024 10 28 Submit Samples for Analysis

Historical records documenting the submission of two items to an NC State study. One item is a single hair being submitted for species identification. The other item is a set of four deer leg bones collected at a feeding site being submitted for forensic analysis of damage (how and where the bones are broken), tooth marks from animals that have bitten or gnawed on the bones, and any other indications of what species may have interacted with the bones.

本数据集为记录两件物品提交至北卡罗来纳州立大学（NC State）某项研究的历史档案。其中一件物品为单根毛发，用于物种鉴定。另一件物品为在取食点采集的4件鹿腿骨集合，将被提交用于法医分析，分析内容包括骨骼破损的方式与位置、啃咬骨骼的动物留下的齿痕，以及其他可反映与该骨骼发生交互的物种的相关线索。
