Bacteria Genome sequencing and assembly. Bacteria

The cyanobacterium Roseofilum reptotaenium is one of the main coral black band disease (BBD) pathogens. We sequenced the genome of R. reptotaenium to gain more knowledge about BBD pathogenicity and virulence factors. Three genomes were recovered from a non-axenic cyanobacterial culture: Roseofilum reptotaenium, an Alphaproteobacterium and a Cytophagaceae.

玫瑰丝菌（Roseofilum reptotaenium）是珊瑚黑带病（Coral Black Band Disease, BBD）的主要致病菌之一。为深入解析珊瑚黑带病的致病性与毒力因子，我们完成了该菌的基因组测序。本次研究从一份非无菌蓝细菌培养物中获取了三份基因组，分别对应玫瑰丝菌、α-变形菌（Alphaproteobacterium）与噬纤维菌科（Cytophagaceae）。
