In order to figure out the genomic binding landscape of CARM1, we analyzed the genome-wide transcriptional targets for CARM1 using the Chromatin immunoprecipitation based-deep sequencing (ChIP-seq) in MDA-MB-231 cells with antibodies against CARM1. Using Illumina instrument, we found lots of CARM1-specific binding peaks and strong enrichment on the promoters of selected genes involved in classical pathways.
