District-level Climate And Mango Production Data -- Tamil Nadu, India

Monthly climate data (2007-2020) and mango yield data (2008-2019) for 31 districts in Tamil Nadu, India.: Daily climate data for minimum and maximum temperatures, rainfall and solar radiation were from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) Reanalysis v5 (ERA5) and obtained from the Copernicus Climate Data Store (https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/). Growing degree days (GDD) were calculated using the minimum and maximum temperatures and a temperature base of 17 °C. Monthly values for GDD, rainfall and solar radiation, along with the standard deviations of their daily values are provided in the file.
