Data and code for ''Keeping logs on the past: log driving tells the story of fire regimes in pine forests of eastern Canada''

We used log-driven logs to reconstruct fire history from the preindustrial period to the post-settlement period (1700-1950). 81 fire scars were identified and crossdated on 60 samples. A Bayesian model in JAGS (code included) was used to analyse the fire probability between three settlement periods (before 1840, between 1840 and 1915, after 1915).

本研究采用木质年轮测年样本，重建了从工业革命前至殖民后时期（1700年至1950年）的火灾历史。研究团队在60个样本中识别并完成交叉定年的树木火疤共计81处。本研究借助JAGS软件（附带代码）构建贝叶斯模型，对三个殖民阶段（1840年以前、1840年至1915年、1915年以后）的火灾发生概率开展分析。
