This dataset is a statistical table detailing the area and stock volume of natural arbor forests, classified by both forest category and age group, based on the main findings of the 9th National Forest Inventory. It covers the area and stock volume of young stands, middle-aged stands, near-mature stands, and mature stands for five forest categories, namely protection forests, special-purpose forests, timber forests, fuelwood forests, and economic forests, across 30 provincial-level administrative regions in China, excluding Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and Shanghai.
