Malaspina Expedition 2010 omics datasets

The Malaspina Expedition 2010 (Duarte 2015) was a global multidisciplinary oceanographic survey that took place from December 2010 to July 2011 on board the R/V BIO_Hesperides. The cruise started and ended in the southern Iberian Peninsula and crossed the tropical and sub-tropical Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans from West to East, collecting samples from surface up to 4000 m deep, with special emphasis in the dark ocean. This umbrella study gathers all the DNA and RNA data sequenced from the expedition, including metagenomes, metatranscriptomes, metaviromes, rRNA SSU amplicons and derived datasets. Duarte, Carlos M.
