Our project seeks to elucidate the quantum state of protons confined within an interlamellar space of molybdic acids. As representatives of hydrated transition metal oxides, molybdic acids are known for their applicability as novel energy storage materials related to their pseudocapacitive ability. Neutron Compton scattering (NCS) will be used here to characterise proton momentum distributions and elucidate the shapes of the local potentials of the mean force and effective force-constant values of the protons.
本项目旨在阐明限域于钼酸层间空间内的质子的量子态。作为水合过渡金属氧化物的典型代表,钼酸因具备赝电容特性,可作为新型储能材料,其应用价值已获公认。本研究将采用中子康普顿散射(Neutron Compton Scattering, NCS)表征质子的动量分布,并阐明平均力的局域势形状与质子的有效力常数。
