Children's leisure time

This survey maps children’s physical activity in their leisure time. This includes exercise and participation in sports, play, and outdoor recreation. The survey aims to (1) provide indicator information on the extent of physical activity, exercise, and participation in outdoor recreation, (2) how this develops over time, and (3) how it is distributed among children and young people in the population.

In addition to the topics of physical activity, sports, play, and outdoor recreation, questions were also asked about social relationships and quality of life, screen use, and life at home. The survey also includes a set of questions for parents or guardians: about the children’s health, the guardians’ own physical activity habits, and the extent to which they are involved in their children’s sports activities.

The sample consists of 7,500 randomly selected children aged 6–15. Of these, 3,263 responded to the survey. This gives a response rate of 44 percent.

本调查聚焦儿童闲暇时间的身体活动（physical activity）状况，涵盖运动锻炼、体育参与、游戏活动及户外休闲活动。本调查的核心目标有三：其一，提供身体活动、运动锻炼及户外休闲参与程度的指标信息；其二，梳理上述活动随时间推移的发展趋势；其三，阐明其在全体儿童与青少年群体中的分布特征。

除上述身体活动、体育活动、游戏及户外休闲相关主题外，调查问卷还涵盖了社会关系、生活质量（quality of life）、屏幕使用（screen use）及家庭生活等议题。此外，本调查还设置了针对家长或监护人的专项问卷模块，内容涉及儿童健康状况、监护人自身的身体活动习惯，以及监护人参与子女体育活动的程度。

本次调查的初始样本为7500名随机抽取的6至15岁儿童，其中共有3263名儿童完成了问卷，最终应答率为44%。
