This dataset provides an integrated list of educational facilities across Nigeria, sourced from Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) and OpenStreetMap (OSM). It combines both point locations and building footprints (polygons). The dataset contains 5,455 records (2,729 points, 2,726 polygons), in Apache Parquet format, with geographic coverage of Nigeria. Features include facility name, type, operator type, capacity information, address, etc. In terms of processing, representative points (centroids) were calculated for polygon features to provide a consistent location interface alongside point features; all geometries are preserved as WKT strings; the dataset is sorted by name and amenity type.
