In this study, we further our understanding of the manual McGurk Effect – the notion that the timing of non-referential “beat” gestures can act as a visual cue to prominence, biasing the perception and subsequent discrimination of lexical stress minimal pairs that have been manipulated to be auditorily ambiguous.
In this collection, you will find the various scripts that were used for audio and audiovisual stimuli creation, the raw data from the audio-only pretest that was used to select the final audio stimuli as well as the raw data from the audiovisual 2-AFC task, as well as the R scripts used for data analysis.
