Large dams in California (enriched)

A dataset of large dams in California (i.e., those listed in the National Inventory of Dams) enriched with attributes describing the infrastructure, its operations, hydrology, social considerations, environmental justice, and biodiversity and conservation. Data used to create the enriched large dams database were harvested in 2024. A data dictionary is included to describe fields. For more context, see chapter 2 of Lucy Andrews's PhD dissertation, published by the University of California, Berkeley on https://escholarship.org.
