COMMUNICATION CULTURE AS A FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
收藏资源简介:
This article explores communication culture as one of the core foundations of the educational process. It argues that education is not only about transferring knowledge, but also about building meaningful relationships between teachers and students. In today’s rapidly changing and digitally connected world, the ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and thoughtfully has become just as important as academic achievement. Relying on the ideas of scholars such as Lev Vygotsky and Mikhail Bakhtin, the article highlights the social and dialogical nature of learning. It views communication culture as a combination of ethical behavior, language competence, emotional awareness, empathy, and openness to dialogue. Special attention is given to the teacher’s role, emphasizing that a teacher’s communicative competence shapes the classroom atmosphere, influences students’ motivation, and supports their personal and intellectual growth. The article identifies key elements of communication culture in education, including clear and respectful verbal interaction, effective use of non-verbal cues, active listening, constructive feedback, conflict management, intercultural sensitivity, and responsible digital communication. When these elements are present, the learning environment becomes more supportive, collaborative, and engaging. The study concludes that developing communication culture should be an essential part of teacher education and curriculum design. Strengthening communication skills in educational settings not only improves learning outcomes but also prepares students to participate confidently and responsibly in modern society.
