Metagenomic data was generated form several hypersaline lakes in southeast Australia, sampled during the austral summer of 2018-2019. Metagenomic data was used in the study "Revisiting evolutionary trajectories and the organization of the Pleolipoviridae family" by Alarcón-Schumacher et. al.本数据集的宏基因组数据（Metagenomic data）采集自澳大利亚东南部的多个高盐湖，采样工作于2018-2019年南半球夏季完成。该宏基因组数据已被应用于Alarcón-Schumacher等人的研究论文《重探多脂病毒科（Pleolipoviridae）的进化轨迹与组构特征》。
