The Committee of Management, from 1992 known as the Board of Management, was the prime decision making body of the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) from it's beginning in 1870 to 1995, when the RCH merged with the Royal Women's Hospital to form the Women's and Children's Health Care Network.From 1944 the minutes of both the Finance Committee and House Committee (which were effectively subcommittees of the Committee of Management) are included in the minute books of the Committee of Management.Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Archives. They were part of RCH accession number 2010/003 and 2006/003.
