CTD data salinity, temperature, depth for Cruise DP01 (R/V Point Sur PS1505) in-situ deep seawater and associated fauna, 2015-05-02 - 2015-05-08, Viosca Knoll, Gulf of Mexico

Deep water sampling of in-situ seawater and associated fauna (cruise DP01, cruise dates 2015-05-01 - 2015-05-08, cruise DOI: https://doi.org/10.7284/909430) aboard the R/V Point Sur (cruise PS1505) in an area encompassing roughly 28°N to 29°N and 87.5°W to 88.5°W. Submitted data in this dataset are the salinity, temperature and depth data from the ship's CTD, which was deployed at each of the DEEPEND stations. The depth of each cast is variable but extends from near-surface waters to below the euphotic zone. This data will be used in the assessment of the water column's vertical structure and for comparison with physical models.
