海水溶解氧(DO)是指溶解在海水中的氧气的浓度,是海水中光合作用、呼吸作用和其他生地化过程综合作用的结果,表征海水含氧量。对极区海水溶解氧开展调查,对于了解氧气的分布、消耗补偿情况,了解极地特定海区生地化过程、研究其对生态系统的作用具有重要意义。
2021-2022年中国第38次南极科学考察期间,开展了走航海水溶解氧(DO)调查。本数据包括总计27个站位的表层海水溶解氧(DO)数据,水样为表层水(0m)。
Dissolved Oxygen (DO) in seawater is defined as the concentration of oxygen dissolved in seawater. It is the product of combined effects of photosynthesis, respiration and other biogeochemical processes in marine environments, and serves as an indicator of seawater oxygen content. Conducting surveys on dissolved oxygen in polar seawater is of great significance for understanding the distribution, consumption and compensation of oxygen, clarifying biogeochemical processes in specific polar sea areas, and investigating their impacts on marine ecosystems. During the 38th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition in 2021–2022, an underway survey of seawater dissolved oxygen (DO) was carried out. This dataset includes surface seawater dissolved oxygen (DO) data from a total of 27 stations, where the water samples were collected from surface water at 0 m depth.
