帽巖跡碑@金磯

1910(明治四十三)年建立。 当地に「烏帽子(えぼし)岩」があったことを後世に残すために建てられた碑。碑文には、1854年安政元年11月5日の地震により烏帽子岩が壊れた、と文頭に記されている。烏帽子の形をした岩は、高さ約7.3m、上部の周囲は約13.0m、その下はくびれて根本部が広がり、周囲は約32.7mと刻まれている。 2016年の徳島県教育委員会の調査において、情報が寄せられ、安政南海地震について記された碑であることが確認された。 Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
This stele was erected in 1910 (Meiji 43). It was constructed to preserve the memory of "Eboshi-iwa" (Umbrella Rock) in the local area for posterity. The opening inscription of the stele states that Eboshi-iwa was destroyed by an earthquake on November 5, 1854, the first year of the Ansei era. The stele also records the physical dimensions of the umbrella-shaped rock: it stands approximately 7.3 meters tall, has a circumference of about 13.0 meters at its upper section, tapers below, and its expanded base has a circumference of approximately 32.7 meters. In a 2016 survey conducted by the Tokushima Prefectural Board of Education, relevant information was submitted, confirming that this stele documents the Ansei Nankai Earthquake.
