L-carnitine (LC) has been widely studied as natural anti-oxidant molecules to treat anti-fertility gametes. However, the molecular mechanism of LC supplement on the testes of aging cocks has not been evaluated. Therefore, the objective of this study was to reveal the mechanism of testicular oxidative defense in relation to semen quality factor induced by LC supplement in the aging cock through a new perspective of transcriptome study.

左旋肉碱(L-carnitine, LC)作为天然抗氧化分子,已被广泛研究用于治疗抗生育性配子。然而,补充左旋肉碱对衰老公鸡睾丸的分子作用机制尚未得到阐明。因此,本研究旨在通过转录组学研究的全新视角,揭示补充左旋肉碱诱导的衰老公鸡睾丸氧化防御机制及其与精液品质因子的关联。
