G. pallidipes 10 microsatellites Kenya plus Turkana

This dataset contains microsatellite genotypes of Glossina pallidipes collected from two sites in Turkana County, in northwestern Kenya, alonside previously published populations in Kenya. A total of 10 polymorphic microsatellite loci were genotyped in individual flies using PCR amplification followed by genotyping. The dataset includes allele sizes for each locus per individual, with missing data presented as zeros. These genotypic data were generated to assess genetic diversity, population structure, and potential gene flow within and between G. pallidipes populations in northwestern Kenya (KAI and ORO) and the rest of the previously published data from Kenya.

本数据集包含从肯尼亚西北部图尔卡纳县两个采样点采集的淡足舌蝇（Glossina pallidipes）的微卫星基因型（microsatellite genotypes）数据，同时纳入了肯尼亚境内已发表的采采蝇种群数据。本研究通过聚合酶链式反应（Polymerase Chain Reaction，PCR）扩增后进行基因分型，共对单只淡足舌蝇的10个多态性微卫星位点（microsatellite loci）完成了基因分型。本数据集包含每只个体各对应位点的等位基因长度，缺失数据以0值表示。本次生成的基因型数据，旨在评估肯尼亚西北部两个淡足舌蝇种群（KAI与ORO）以及肯尼亚境内其余已发表种群的种群内部及种群间的遗传多样性、种群结构与潜在基因交流水平。
