Head of a standing lion that used to be in the entrance of the footbridge leading to Francisco de Castro's palace top floor. It is hollow, and probably prefabricated. Just like other pieces used in the palace, it probably came from a workshop at Conselheiro Ramalho street. There were also a couple of lying lion statues on the ground floor. These were solid ones, carved in stone. Seven people were required to remove and store them.
