Multiple regression analyses involving plasma resistin (ng/ml) as a dependent variable and each SNP genotype, age (years), gender (male = 0, female = 1), and BMI as independent variables were performed as described in Methods. For each SNP genotype, S/S was compared to N/N, and N/S was compared to N/N, respectively where the major and minor alleles based on the allele frequency were defined by normal (N), and susceptibility (S) alleles, respectively.

本研究以血浆抵抗素(ng/ml)为因变量,以各单核苷酸多态性(Single Nucleotide Polymorphism,SNP)基因型、年龄(岁)、性别(男性赋值为0,女性赋值为1)及体质量指数(BMI)为自变量开展多重回归分析,分析流程遵循“方法”部分的描述。针对每一种SNP基因型,分别将S/S基因型与N/N基因型、N/S基因型与N/N基因型进行比较;其中基于等位基因频率定义的主要等位基因记为正常等位基因(N),次要等位基因记为易感等位基因(S)。
