Transcriptional responses to interferon require Mediator kinase-dependent pause release and mechanistically distinct functions of CDK8 and CDK19. Examination of 45 minute IFNgamma response in CDK8 analog sensitive HCT116 cells compared with wild type HCT116 cells with all the applicable controls.
