本研究针对36名女性的胎盘组织样本开展差异甲基化分析，其中包含17名血压正常女性（标记为P）与19名子痫前期（preeclamptic）女性（标记为Q）。研究在控制胎龄、种族、母亲年龄及婴儿性别等混杂因素的前提下，直接将子痫前期女性与血压正常女性进行对照比较。本次分析共纳入36个样本：17个来自血压正常组，19个来自子痫前期组。
