The impact of methane fluxes on microbial communities at arctic gas hydrates formed pingos (Archaea)

Our project aims at studying the microbial commmunities thriving at gas hydrates formed pingos on the seafloor of the Barents Sea. We are using an amplicon-based approach to analyze the archaeal communities. Within the same project, bacterial and eukaryotic libraries are also available on SRA.

本项目旨在研究巴伦支海海底冻胀丘（pingo）上形成的天然气水合物中栖息的微生物群落。我们采用基于扩增子的分析方法对古菌群落进行分析。本项目配套的细菌与真核生物文库亦可在序列读取档案（Sequence Read Archive，SRA）中获取。
