RNAseq in Smg7-/- and parental immortalized mouse fibroblasts

Nonsense mediated decay (NMD) proteins are responsible for the surveillance and degradation of aberrant RNAs. Among these, SMG7 is a novel regulator of TNFa induced apoptosis; however, its effect on the apoptosis pathway is unexplored. We performed RNA sequencing to investigate whether particular classes of transcripts are affected in Smg7 KO cells.

无义介导的降解（Nonsense mediated decay, NMD）蛋白负责异常RNA的监视与降解。其中，SMG7是肿瘤坏死因子α（TNFa）诱导的细胞凋亡的新型调控因子，但目前其对细胞凋亡通路的调控作用尚未得到探索。我们通过RNA测序（RNA sequencing）技术，探究了Smg7基因敲除细胞中特定类别转录本是否会受到影响。
