KEGG整合基因组、通路、基因、蛋白、化合物、药物、疾病和生物系统功能知识库；由京都大学化学研究所等GenomeNet体系提供，用于基因功能注释、代谢通路分析和系统生物学研究。
KEGG is a knowledge base integrating data related to genomes, pathways, genes, proteins, compounds, drugs, diseases and biological system functions. It is provided by the GenomeNet system led by the Institute for Chemical Research, Kyoto University, and is applied to gene function annotation, metabolic pathway analysis and systems biology research.
