Workshop on fostering human-wildlife coexistence using science: pre- and post-workshop survey

Data from a questionnaire survey conducted with participants before and after a workshop on human-wildlife conflict (HWC) in Mauritius to assess changes in knowledge and perceptions of the Mauritian flying fox (Pteropus niger), including its conservation status, ecology, and crop damage mitigation strategies, as well as perceived barriers to protecting commercial fruit production and native biodiversity.本数据集来源于毛里求斯举办的人类与野生动物冲突（Human-Wildlife Conflict, HWC）工作坊前后，面向参会者实施的问卷调查所获数据，旨在评估参与者对毛里求斯狐蝠（Pteropus niger）的认知与态度变化，具体涵盖该物种的保护现状、生态学特性、作物损害减缓策略，以及参与者在保护商业果品生产与本土生物多样性过程中所感知到的阻碍因素。
